Christmas is coming? ...Are you sure? | Boston Family Photography

Christmas is coming.

*Glances out the window at the 90 degree, cloudless day*

(This is where you say, "um...")

No, really!  It is!  There are only 3 months and 2 days until the big C is here.  Remember June?  Remember how you were SO excited for the summer to start?  Yeah, well, as fast as that came and went, that's how fast these next 92 days are going to come and go as well.  Time to prepare!

I don't know about you, but my parents, THE grandparents, always want pictures of the kids for Christmas.  You'd think that with me being a photographer, my house and my parents' are overrun with more photos than the Getty museum.  Actually, I'm probably the worst of the worst about getting photos of my kids printed. First, they don't sit still for me no matter how much I humiliate myself in attempts to make them smile for the camera.  Second, I have (I kid you not) ELEVEN THOUSAND pictures on my computer waiting to be printed.  Yes, that's an eleven with three zeroes after it.  So every time my parents ask me for pictures of the kids, I open up this massive folder, take one look and close it again.  There's no way I'm going through all these pictures right now!

Do your child's grandparents ask you for photos of your family?   Would you like a family photo that wont make you cringe when Grammy and Grampy tell you they show everyone they know, everyone they meet, and everyone that happens to make eye contact with them in the supermarket?  Would you like someone else to be doing to shameless wiggle dance so your kids will smile?  Would you like someone else to expertly edit the dirt specks, and lunch remnants of the kids' faces?  I am here to help!  I will be offering Holiday Mini-sessions for the purpose of holiday cards and photo gifts.  Have you seen the Accordion Mini-Books?  PERFECT gift for grandparents.

Stay tuned for more information about the Holiday Mini-session!  I'm thinking a day in November would be fantastic!

Also, The Holiday Fair at the Wilmington Methodist Church (Located on Church St in Wilmington) is going to be November 20th 9am-2pm and Rare Photography will be there with exclusive promotions unavailable anywhere else!  Mark your calendars!  I hope to see you there!  I'll be posting more on this in the next few weeks, so check back to find clues to the FREE prize and special discounts.
